HORIZON LODGE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY

Horizon Lodge is an independent living, not for profit, apartment complex for age 62 and older, handicapped or disabled individuals.  The Horizon Lodge has been providing affordable housing to residents of Pondera County, Montana for 42 years.  Horizon Lodge, Inc. is the sponsoring  entity for Horizon Lodge.  Horizon Lodge, Inc.’s Board of Directors are volunteers chosen from citizens of Pondera County, Montana where Horizon Lodge is located.  Drop in for a visit, or call for more information on our community and services provided.  We welcome visitors, guests and potential residents to tour Horizon Lodge Monday through Friday.  Appointments can be made for weekend visits.

Conrad is a small, friendly, scenic community located near Glacier National Park, the Rocky Mountains and the second largest city in Montana, Great Falls.  Conrad offers a variety of services tailored for seniors, handicapped and disabled.  Services available include: churches, library, city parks, arts theater, a full service medical center with visiting specialist, nursing home, physicians, dentists, home health, hospice, optometrists, shopping, entertainment, a grocery store and pharmacies that deliver to Horizon Lodge residents.  Our community offers a bus that provides transportation for residents of Conrad and the Horizon Lodge.  The bus is equipped to provide transportation for the handicapped and disabled.            
 

SERVICES AND AMENITIES

Horizon Lodge offers several advantages for our residents:

¨ Unfurnished studio, one bedroom and one bedroom plus apartments that are equipped with kitchenettes, cabinets, refrigerators, full bathrooms, multiple closets, ceiling fans, decorated with modern blinds & carpeting.
¨  Utilities, Parking and Meals are included in the cost of rent.
¨  Weekly apartment vacuuming & cleaning of the bathroom is provided.
¨  Scenic and professionally maintained building and property with 24 hour emergency maintenance availability.
¨  Three seasons Atrium area and large patio area for plants and visiting.
¨  Located within walking distance of downtown services.
¨ Free Delivery from Local Pharmacies
& Grocery Stores
¨  In house beautician.
¨  Friendly helpful staff.
 
Food Service
Our Food Service department is always being complimented for their home style meals which are prepared with a caring touch and served in our newly remodeled dining room on the first floor.
 
 
 
 
Three meals a day available except for Holidays, Saturdays & Sundays when we offer two meals a day and the option of an evening box supper delivered to your home.
Most special dietary needs can be accommodated.
Family and guest are welcome to share meals with residents.
Meal delivery for those unable to leave their apartments.
Traditional Holiday meals served.
Our specialities are homemade cookies, breads and pies.
 
Personal Care Services
 
For our residents who may desire some degree of assistance in maintaining an independent living lifestyle, it may be comforting to know that there are two Personal Care Agencies providing services in Pondera County.

Services available from these agencies include but are not limited to Blood Pressure Monitoring, Meal Reminders, Housekeeping, Bathing Assistance, Medication Reminders, Shopping and Transportation.

HOW DO I GET INTO HORIZON LODGE?
 
The procedure is simple.  Just request and complete our short application process. 
Our attentive staff can assist you during a visit or over the phone
with any questions you may have.
 
 
 
HOW MUCH IS THE RENT?
 
 
Prices (for one resident) includes rent, utilities, light housekeeping, meals and parking.  Add $250 for each additional member of the household that will reside at the Horizon Lodge.  Housing subsidy assistance is available.
 
Studio -$745
One Bedroom –$825
One Bedroom Plus –$1025
 
 
Deposits: $475 for studio, $575 one bedroom units and
$775 for one-bedroom plus units.
